Save the date, more information coming soon!

ABOUT THE DAY

Lindfield Village Day is a traditional village celebration of community, which takes place each year on the Common in Lindfield, West Sussex.

Celebrating its 46th year in 2024, the event expects to include the following: over 100 stalls on the Common, the Grand Competition Tent, a children's dog show, a tasty Food & Drink Quarter (also on the Common), an arena for events/games during the afternoon, and we are bringing back the procession down the High Street - featuring hundreds of villagers making their way to the Common.

Lindfield Village Day is organised by a committed team of brilliant volunteers, as one of the key fundraising activities for Lindfield's King Edward Hall.

TESTIMONIALS

We have thousands of local (and not so local) people come and visit our Village Day which makes it so special. Here's some of the recent messages we have received.
  • Lindfield Parish Council
The Parish Council wishes to express its thanks to the Village Day Organising Committee for the success of this year’s event. Councillors were extremely pleased to see the event was both well run and attended especially given the challenging time in which the event was organised. It was noted that the day after the event the Common was clear of any rubbish and this was due to the hard work of all those involved.

Thanks very much for having me at the weekend. Couldn't believe how big it was (glad I wasn't the one organising ) lol!! Please invite me back next year, so lovely to get out and trade in a different area. Picked up some lovely customers, so hopefully be a great contact in the future.

I know just how much effort and hard work goes on behind the scenes in organising events such as village day, so a huge thank you for all that you did to make it happen.

Just to say how much my team enjoyed the event last Saturday. The organisation was excellent, the friendliness of the public was great and the help given by the group from All Saints church was fantastic and quite made our day. We were lucky to be pitched next to them. We hope to return just making sure that the dogs on duty do not mind loud bangs!
