Lindfield Village Day
Saturday 4th June 2022
ABOUT THE DAY

The Lindfield Village Day is back to it's normal running and this year it will be on Saturday 4th June 2022 with special plans to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee weekend, so we are looking forward to seeing you all then.
As part of the royal celebrations, Lindfield Village Day will begin with a walking parade (there will not be a procession down the High Street this year), playing of the national anthem, and the tradition of the Firing of the Anvil to officially open the community event.
As well as over 100 stalls on Lindfield Common, the Children’s Dog Show and a tasty Food & Drink Quarter, this year’s event features a collaboration with Lindfield Arts Festival (LAF). There will be an art exhibition in King Edward Hall. The LAF Stage will be set up on the Common and will see music and dance performances throughout the afternoon. In addition, the LAF team will be running ‘The Reading Room’, a space dedicated to books and celebrating local authors.
Lindfield Village Day is organised by a committed team of brilliant volunteers, as one of the key fundraising activities for Lindfield’s King Edward Hall.
